The area is always interested in assisting clubs financially in certain circumstances. This may be in the purchase of equipment, funding for events etc.
We are especially keen to help where the result will mean exposure to the general public and the potential for bringing new people into the hobby.
Read below for the procedure to follow…
- Down load the funding request form here – BMFA Midland Area Funding Request v2.1
- Complete all the fields with as much detail as possible
- Send the form to the area secretary at secretary@midland.bmfa.uk
- The form will be checked by the treasurer and any immediate questions will be raised
- Assuming the form is accepted the secretary will add the request to the agenda of the next area meeting
- At the meeting you need to attend and present the request for the committee to approve or reject
- If accepted then the payment details will be negotiated with the treasurer
- If rejected then reasons will be given and you will have an opportunity to revise and re-submit at the next meeting
Note that we do ask for financial information on the form which has been queried in the past. The reason for this is that our funds are limited and if the requests exceed our current funding levels then we need to prioritise based on which clubs are more in need of assistance.
